CATE (Certified Addictions Treatment Educator
The CATE is a credential offered only to educators who teach in CAADE accredited college or university programs. The CATE must have taught a minimum of two courses to qualify initiallyfor initial application and must obtain 40 CEUs (9 of which must be in addiction specific laws and ethics). All CATEs must be CAADE members in good standing. Please check your membership status before submitting your CATE application or renewal.
