CAADE Policy Statements

 
 
 

Over the years, CAADE has been on the front lines advocating for higher eduation for addiction counselors and participating in the legislative process. We will be using this page, our blogs, discussion boards, and other forms of communication to our members and the public at large, to inform you of ongoing changes at the state and national levels. Here we will post not only our policy and position statements, but also links and articles relevant to the rapidly changing landscape in addiction education, treatment and prevention, and healthcare in general.

The Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (ADP) staff is working on three initiatives related to departmental changes that are mandated or proposed by Governor Brown.
